I can't believe they're allowed to sell products in the condition they do with the awful customer service they have. I have been in countless homegoods over the years and never seen a store full of broken merchandise i thought it was an outlet or something. I bought a table with a crack in it and tried to bring it to the attention of the manager after seeing a large selection of ruined products all over the store not marked down as they should be in the damaged "clearance" section. the employee refuses to get me the manager so I blatantly ask "your manager will not come out and speak to me?" I explained how rude this was she shrugged and she said maybe you'll get a discount on the table at the front and walked away. The manager finally walks over touches the large crack in the table says "oh" and walks away no eye contact. I don't care about the discount I was willing to pay full price I just needed some ASSISTANCE. I pull the table to the counter and see the same table absolutely shattered on the floor behind the check out stand, I.e a crack in the marble will lead to it just breaking and they want to give me 10% off and have me drag it around the store myself. I am trying to leave and the manager starts arguing with the customer next to me so I try to step in for the customer who is shocked at the way the manager is speaking to her, thanks me for helping her after being yelled at over needing an extra shopping bag for her purchase and the manager telling her they DONT HAVE ANY!! Do not go in this store you will end up with broken furniture and a bad taste.

Employee: Victoria. I am beyond impressed with the service. I have been looking all over the south bay for waters glasses that I bought from a different location. I didn't really want to drive the 30 minutes if they didn't have them at the El Segundo store, so I called, and in order to best serve me, Victoria allowed me to text her personal phone the picture of the glasses! She was then able to go look for them. They didn't have the glasses at the time, but she told me she would keep her eye out for them! What exceptional service!
I appreciate this so much.
